Our Owner
Crowded Cat Studio is owned by Marlie Ramey. Marlie is an artist in Southern West Virginia. She grew up in a small rural town outside the capital of WV. Her art is inspired by sassy saying and bold colors! The goal of her work is to make people smile and, with any luck, laugh out loud. Outside her art, she is an epidemiology intern and in her senior year in college.

The Eldest
Ferdinand
Ferd is the first cat to join Crowded Cat Studio. He was adopted at the local Flea Market from an elderly woman - he was the only one who didn't get picked for the day and the woman was desperate to get him a home. Marlie's mom went over to look at him and immedately agreed to take him and the rest is history!
The Bossy One
Millicent
Millie came to us as one of a big litter of kittens found at an older woman's house. She quickly bonded with her big brother Ferdinand so keeping her was an easy decision. As an older sister, however, she likes to boss the younger ones around.
The Sweetheart
Malaki
Kai is the oldest of a group of three black cats found in the snow days before Christmas in an old hollar near where Marlie grew up. With no one else willing to take them in, they joined the increasingly crowded studio. Kai is a sweety though and loves to bump his head against his mama.
The Big Boi
Franklin
Frankie Beans (Beans for short) is a big cat! But don't let his size fool you, he's nothing but a love bug. He joined us with Malaki. Beans likes to snuggle up in your personal space and expects constant head scratches.
The Food Thief
Maxine
Maxine AKA Maxini the Wienie is the little sister to Kai and Beans. She is a small girl with a big personality...and even bigger hunger! This cat will steal any food imaginable. One time she swiped an entire slice of NY style pizza. She is not to be trusted near your food!
The Nibbler
Jax
Jax came from another large litter found on someones property. While he is Marlie's mom's cat, he prefers to enjoy his time at the now very crowded cat studio with his feline friends. He will nibble on your arm if you dare think of not giving him a pet!
The Innocent One
Francine
Fran came to us from the same litter as Jax, however, she could not be more different. While Jax is quick to say what he needs, Fran is more reserved. You can find her sleeping on her papa's pillow in the sun most days.
The Troublemaker
Arlo
Arlo literally fell head first out of a woman's car at Marlie's moms work. He was too small to even drink milk on his own so everyone at Crowded Cat Studio worked day and night to keep him and his sister alive. Luckily, they both made it through and Arlo has been causing trouble at the studio ever since!
The Baby
Amryn
Amryn is Arlo's sister who joined him inside the car engine on that fateful day. She enjoys snuggling with her mama day and night, except when you can find her on top of the refrigerator hanging out with the cereal boxes. She's sweet through and through!
